About airportbus.in

An independent guide to airport buses in Indian cities, built because finding a departure time should not take four tabs and a PDF.

What this is

Airport bus information in India is scattered. Operators publish timetables as images or PDFs, third-party sites copy them once and let them rot, and the question you actually have, when does the next bus leave from my stop, takes far too long to answer.

This site does one thing. Pick your city, pick your direction, pick your stop, and see the next departure. Every stop has its own page with the full timetable in both directions.

Cities covered

  • Bengaluru — 20 routes and 248 stops on the Vayu Vajra network to Kempegowda International Airport.
  • Hyderabad — 5 routes and 32 stops on the Pushpak network to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
  • Visakhapatnam — 2 routes and 31 stops on the Vizag Aero Express network to Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport.
  • Goa Mopa — 3 routes and 5 stops on the Airport Shuttle network to Manohar International Airport.
  • Goa Dabolim — 1 route and 3 stops on the Airport Shuttle network to Dabolim Airport.
  • Chennai — 2 routes and 20 stops on the MAA series network to Chennai International Airport.

How the timings work

Timetables are the published operator schedules. The countdown to the next bus is calculated in your browser against India Standard Time, so it is right wherever you are reading from.

Only the first and last stop on a route are timetabled by the operator. Times at stops in between are estimated from how far along the route each stop sits. That is an approximation and the pages say so wherever such a time appears. It is close enough to plan around and not close enough to cut fine.

These are schedules, not live positions. Nothing here tracks where a bus actually is. Leave a buffer, particularly in peak hours and during the monsoon.

What this is not

This site is not run by any transport corporation or airport operator and has no affiliation with one. It does not sell tickets. You pay on board or at the operator's counter.

Corrections

Timetables change and some of what is here will go stale. If you spot something wrong, tell us and it gets fixed. The data sources page lists where every figure came from.
