KIA-9 runs from Majestic to Bangalore airport round the clock, every 10 to 20 minutes, for ₹290. Where to board, every stop and fare, and which bus to catch for your flight.
The airport bus from Majestic is KIA-9, BMTC's air-conditioned Vayu Vajra from Kempegowda Bus Station to Kempegowda International Airport. It runs round the clock, 102 times a day, every 10 to 20 minutes, and takes about an hour. The fare is ₹290, paid on the bus.

Where to catch KIA-9 at Majestic
KIA-9 leaves from the BMTC side of Kempegowda Bus Station, the half used by city buses. The other half, for KSRTC and other out-of-town buses, is where the Majestic metro station is, and KSR Bengaluru City railway station is across the road from both.
BMTC does not publish a platform number for KIA-9, and the numbers given online do not agree with each other. On the BMTC side, look for the Vayu Vajra board and the air-conditioned Volvo coaches showing KIA-9, or ask at the BMTC enquiry counter.
- From the metro: Nadaprabhu Kempegowda station, Majestic, is where the Purple and Green lines meet. Follow the signs for the BMTC bus station.
- From a train at KSR Bengaluru: the bus station is a short walk across the road.

There is no timetable to plan around: a bus leaves every 10 to 20 minutes, day and night.

Which KIA-9 to catch for your flight
BMTC allows an hour from Majestic to the airport, but Bellary Road through Hebbal is slow at busy times. This table assumes you want to be at the terminal two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international one, and adds 30 minutes for traffic. It gives the latest KIA-9 to catch from Majestic.

KIA-9 fares from each stop
BMTC sets one fare for each stop rather than charging by the kilometre. From Majestic as far as RM Guttahalli it is ₹290, and it falls as you get closer to the airport.

Luggage goes in the bay under the bus at no extra charge. You can pay by UPI, but carry cash too: UPI on BMTC's airport buses has failed for days at a time before. If a UPI payment goes through and no ticket comes out, BMTC refunds it to your account within two or three working days.

From the airport to Majestic
KIA-9 leaves the airport 103 times a day, also from 12:05 am to 11:50 pm, and every 10 to 15 minutes even through the night. It starts at the BMTC bays by Terminal 1 and calls at Terminal 2 a few minutes later; from arrivals, follow the signs for BMTC buses. The fare is the same, ₹290.

Is there a metro from Majestic to the airport?
Not yet. Majestic is on Namma Metro's Purple and Green lines, but neither goes to the airport. The airport section of the Blue Line, from Hebbal, is not planned to open before September 2027. Until then, KIA-9 is the bus straight from Majestic to the terminals.
